View of the desk area just across from the back door.  Archway over hallway door matches original arches found over the living and dining room entries.  Door to the right leads to the basement, with the kitchen located to the far right.  Also note the diamond-shaped depression in the overhead soffet, which again adds visual interest to an otherwise vast expanse of white ceiling.
